- Request Twilio https://is.gd/Twilio
- REDCap Administrators will enable Twilio, set-up your subaccount, provide a Twilio Account SID, Twilio Auth Token, & Twilio phone number.
- You will receive notification that Twilio is enabled.
- Twilio SMS and Voice Call services box will appear in the Project Set-up Tab
- Open the Configure Twilio Settings and complete the set-up page.
Shreya's Notes on What We Need From the Client
What we need from client:
-Bought phone number from twilio (with country code/location)
-request inspector should be disabled by client before we can use twilio in redcap
-SID
-Authorization token (is a password that should not be shared)- we need it to setup
-ask them to confirm this or check this for a small amount
Twilio configuration settings:
-language and gender used for voice calls (i.e. english male voice)
-survey invitation types to use
-Automatically append response instructions to questions?
-Default invitation preference for new participants?
