How do I log in to APPROACH?

Answer:

You need to have access to the AHS network and have been sent an email identifying your APPROACH user name and password in order to proceed. Look for the APPROACH Online link that opens the Welcome to APPROACH Online log in page then enter your  APPROACH User name and password

  

  1. With the new ONLINE version you can access APPROACH Online through the following menu options on AHS network: Start / All Programs / Clinical Applications / ApproachOnline. This will always be the most up to date link to APPROACH Online.  Should these menu details not be appearing please email AHS IT Service Desk with your AHS User ID, and Calgary Health Region Computer Barcode/Number for your PC (This is a white sticker on your PC Hardware).Please include Primary Site and Unit in the email as well as the fact you cannot see the Start / All Programs / Clinical Applications / ApproachOnline details on your PC. In the interim you may access APPROACH through the following url on AHS network.http https://wsapproachw01approachonline.healthy.bewellalbertahealthservices.ca/ApproachOnline/
  2. If you are a remote user accessing APPROACH via Citrix,
    1. either via My Apps https://myapps.albertahealthservices.ca/vpn/index-ahs.html  you need to enter your AHS username and AHS password then AHS token passcode credentials before seeing the APPROACH Online icon and entering the APPROACH username and password OR
    2. Partner Apps https://partnerapps.albertahealthservices.ca/vpn/index-ahs.html  
      • you need to enter your AHS username and AHS password before seeing the APPROACH Online icon and entering the APPROACH username and password.

forgot my password?

Answer:

  1. If you are a Jira user, then browse the page help.approach.org  log into Jira and create a Password Reset request. To expedite please also provide the specific of the user needing reset (first name, last name, facility) and contact information (email, phone number).
  2. If you are not a Jira user, then send an email request to support@approach.org . To expedite please also provide the specific of the user needing reset (first name, last name, facility) and contact information (email, phone number).
