How to use Survey Specific E-mail Invitations
You can designate any email field in your project to use for sending survey invitations for that particular survey. Thus, you can collect several email addresses (e.g., for a Parent, Patient, Provider, and Nurse) and utilize each email for a different survey in the project. Then you can send each person an invitation to their own survey, after which all the survey responses get stored as one single record in the project.
Here is an example:Â
You might collect the Parent, Patient, Provider, and Nurse e-mails at the time of a visit.Â
Be sure to create each of these variables with the e-mail validation selected, as shown below.Â
Then go to the Online Designer, and select Survey Settings
Under Survey Specific E-mail Field, select the e-mail field you would like this survey to go to
This setting will define a specific e-mail field for each instrument. This defined e-mail field will appear in various REDCap e-mail tools.Â
It will appear in Survey Options in the Record Status Dashboard
And in the Manage Survey Participants, Participants List Tab, Select Parent Instrument.Â
The Parent specific e-mail will appear. You can select Compose Survey Invitations to send invites for this specific e-mail list
