How do I use the Survey Queue?

In its simplest form, the Survey Queue indicates to a participant which surveys are available, and whether or not they have completed each survey, displayed on a single page as a simple, easy-to-read checklist.

The survey queue can also be used to display the appropriate surveys for a specific class of participants through the use of conditional logic.

Setup:

Be sure to enable each instrument needed as a survey.

Select Survey Queue from within the Online Designer

Open

Be sure “(Optional) Auto-continue to next survey” is unchecked for each form under Survey Settings as this setting will override the Survey Queue.

Options:

You may add custom text which will appear at the top of the survey queue

Click activate beside each survey you would like to be included in the queue

You can select whether you would like each survey to start automatically

Can include surveys based on completion of a previous survey AND/OR conditional logic

Note: For longitudinal studies, be sure to include the event name as well as the field name in your conditional logic
